Planeswalkers, queers, and Magic fans, gather ‘round!
After a very successful Magic: The Gathering session in August we are back again with a new game night.
The event will once again be MTG focused (any format) but other card games are also welcome (Pokémon, Yu-Gi-Oh!, etc.)
There will be experienced Magic hosts at the event to help newcomers with learning the game and borrowing decks, but otherwise the tables and play teams will be self-organized.
Queers: The Gathering brings you an evening of Magic: The Gathering with the purpose of creating a space for people in the queer community. Everyone is welcome to join, but we have a special focus on making it a safer space for commonly minoritised players such as trans-, queer, and femme persons.
Whether you’re a seasoned player who owns too many decks to count or you’ve always been interested in giving it a go but haven’t taken the leap yet, all are welcome. We have room and patience for both beginners and experienced players.
Den Anden Side will keep their bar open with snacks, drinks, and toasts throughout the evening.

Do you wanna know if there are others joining the event who play the same format as you? do you wanna know if you can borrow a deck from someone? Start a conversation with others on the event wall and plan ahead.

Please be aware of the space you are taking up and how your presence will influence the other players. Keep in mind that not all players enjoy the same way of engaging in games, and show respect for each other's needs to have a good gaming experience. In the end, we’re here to have fun.
