The corona pandemic is mistakenly described by many as the first pandemic of our generation. But this is just not the case. The HIV/AIDS pandemic has since the early 1980s caused more than 40 million deaths, many from our own communities. The corona pandemic has had catastrophical consequences for the fight against HIV/AIDS and many years of hard work and positive results to bend the curve on HIV/AIDS are now in danger.Group Therapy's first party at Den Anden Side is held to mark World AIDS Day on 1 December and direct spotlight and resources towards this international health emergency, which has disproportionately affected the queer community and communities in low and middle income countries. We are beyond thrilled to do this together with Midland and AGY3NA, who generously have agreed to visit the cold north for a trip down the sweaty basement for a good cause.Part of the income from this party will be donated to two organisations (more details to follow):“Ungegruppen” (Youth Group) – support group for HIV infected youth between 15 and 25 yearsAIDS Foundation Denmark – support for the foundations work, e.g., their LGBTQIA+ STD and health counselling, Checkpoint
